CO treatment is great at maintaining tuna's red hue for longer; however, some companies use CO
to convert old brown tuna to make it seem fresh with a revitalized watermelon red color.
Unfortunately, there is little distinction between fresh and brown tuna that has been CO treated.
Thankfully, with Superfish USA's high standards and love for genuinely fresh tuna, we would
never deceive our customers like that. This integrity is what our reputation was built upon.
